The Road Safety team are delighted to be working with an external Cycle Training organisation, Cycle Experience, in the delivery of Bikeability Training. Cycle Experience shares the Cycle England vision of getting ‘more people, cycling more safely, more often. Through working with an extensive list of Councils and other public sector bodies, they have developed a very highly regarded range of cycling initiatives. After seeing the enthusiasm of Cycle Experience at the events they have expertly hosted for us, I felt compelled to try cycling myself. I have now switched from making most of my journeys by public transport to cycling because the sensation of freewheeling through Harrow, guiding my bike in all directions and getting even more of a workout is too tempting to resist.
