Become a cycle training instructor
With more and more people cycling today in the UK there is a growing demand for cycle training, be it children in schools receiving cycle training to learn how to ride safely on the roads, adults wanting to improve their confidence riding on the roads or anyone of any age wanting to learn how to ride.
This cycle training is delivered by National Standard accredited Cycle Trainers.
As part of the DfT development of cycle training and the Instructor provision for Bikeability Schemes in the UK new Instructor Training Organisations (ITO’s) were set up in January 2011. These are the only bodies recognised by Government as providers of training for National Standards Instructors. Cycle Experience is one of these ITO’s and can offer courses to help individuals become qualified National Standard Instructors.
Cycle Experience has trained over 700 people as National Standard Cycling Instructors who have gone on to deliver cycle training to thousands of children and adults across the UK.
We provide courses to:
- Individuals wishing to become a fully accredited Cycle Training Instructor of Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the National Standards for Cycle Training (Bikeability).
- Organisations or Local Authorities that may be looking to build a team of fully accredited Cycle Training Instructors.
Do you wish to be one of these people? Then read on.
We are flexible with regard to your needs and can tailor courses to suit your specific requirements.
