Become a cycle training instructor
As a fully accredited Instructor Training Provider (ITP) we provides Instructor Training Courses (ITC’s) to;
- Individuals wishing to become a fully accredited Cycle Training Instructor of Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the National Standards for Cycle Training (Bikeability).
- Organisations that may be looking to build a team of fully accredited Cycle Training Instructors.
 We offer a public schedule of courses in St Albans for individuals and tailored ‘in-house’ courses for organisations across the UK.
Course details
The course runs over four days and covers the theory and a wide range of practical exercises involved in delivery of Levels 1- 3 of the national standards for cycle training. The course is delivered by our most senior Instructors who have wide experience in training both children and adults, in groups and as individuals. You will need your own bike and cycle helmet available for use on the course.
Bursaries are available and we can help participants obtain these.
