Become a cycle training instructor
We offer two types of course:
National Standard Instructor Course - would enable individuals to lead and deliver National Standard cycle training sessions. Candidates who complete the course successfully are recognised as Provisional Instructors and can lead and deliver National Standard Levels One and Two. Within six months of the course Provisional Instructors should undertake a Post Course Assessment and on successful completion would become a fully qualified Instructor allowing them to deliver more cycling skills to more people, Level Three of the National Standards.
National Standard Assistant Instructor Course – would enable Assistant Instructors to deliver Levels One and Two when supervised by a fully qualified Instructor. Upon successful completion of the course the candidate will achieve National Standard Assistant Instructor recognition.
We have a team of highly qualified Instructor Trainers who run our courses across the UK.
Our uniqueness is that we come to you but you must have a minimum of six people o book a course. Individuals are welcome to join one of these courses.
Who is eligible to attend a course?
- Anyone over 18 years of age
- Individuals who are able to ride confidently and competently in traffic
- Individuals who have good communication skills and they MUST be able to clearly communicate in English
- Individuals who are available for the full duration of a course
