Cycle mechanic accreditation training success

Cycle Experience’s Bikeability instructors thoroughly enjoyed getting their hands mucky and very oily when they attended a Cycle Mechanic Training Course in Wigan.

Cycle Experience cycle instructors Arthur Winstanley, Pete Firth, Sam Hughes & Mel Glover, deep in concentration with course instructor Benjamin Smith (2nd from the right)

The course aim is for each attendee to enhance their existing knowledge to make sure that people involved in assembling, checking, servicing and maintaining bikes, or carrying out basic cycle maintenance training whilst working for Cycle Experience, have the necessary skills and experience to do so safely and competently.

All attendees commented on how valuable the course was, stating that even though they thought they had a good knowledge of the workings of a bike, they all felt that they are now much more competent and have learnt quite a few useful ‘tricks of the trade’

At the end of the course, everyone successfully attained CE Cycle Mechanic Accreditation and all are looking forward to putting their
newly acquired skills into practice.
